Welcome to Mav's Garden and Unique Gifts
I am Marivic Beebe and I live in Marietta, Georgia with my husband, Matt. Mav's Garden and Unique Gifts is the combination of both of our hobbies; gardening for me and custom wood work and engraved items for Matt.
We created this website as a way to creatively and positively deal with Matt's recent cancer diagnosis, my insomnia and the isolation from friends and family caused by the COVID 19 pandemic.
According to Geraint Evans, PhD, many in the scientific community believe using creativity and imagination can help us find ‘our identity and our reservoir of healing,’ even during these most difficult of times.
This site allows us to share pictures of Mav's garden and Matt's workshop projects.. In response to several requests for a way to view and order some of Matt's finished items, we are in the process of adding a store section to this website.
